Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finisher in eight different age groups.

Think your dog is the best? Compete against other dogs and owners in these contests just for canines… and go home with prizes! Dog/owner pairs are welcome to compete in more than one category. No need to register in advance — just show up at the stage!

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Save A Stray 5K Festival, Discovery Park, L.L.Bean
Tour Discovery Park to see the attractions! We’ll have Facepainting, an Enrichment Toy Station, a Doggie Kissing Booth, and one minute portraits for you or your pet from Fern Wave Studio. You’ll also see delicious snacks from Thayer’s Treats, beautiful macramé from Chickpea Creative, and our favorite canine influencers, The Adventures of Columbo will be there to meet you! Stop by the Midcoast Humane booth to check out items for sale, and learn more about the good work we do in our community. Enjoy delicious food from participating food trucks, and of course don’t forget about Dock Dogs!
