Save a Stray coincides with L.L.Bean’s Dog Days of Summer celebration, where there is something for everyone!

From 10am to 1pm, we will be at Discovery Park with food trucks, an Animal Communicator, facepainting, an Enrichment Toy Station, and a Doggie Kissing Booth! You’ll have a chance to meet Columbo from the Adventures of Columbo, learn about the Cumberland Animal Rescue Team, and visit our sponsors from Wilcox Wellness & Training, Geico: Ashley Bullard, and High Tail Toys! Stop by the Midcoast Humane booth to check out our wares, enter a raffle, and speak to our Trainer who is KPA Certified about any questions regarding your pup (or cat)!

The main feature of the festival will be DOCK DOGS, the world’s premiere canine aquatics competition. On top of that, there will be food trucks, dog contests, raffles, face-painting, and tons of other fun!
