Walk the mile to show support for shelter animals! The walk is a more leisurely physical endeavor than the 5K run, and it is perfect to do with friends if you’d like to chat, and of course, walk with your dogs.

The One-Mile Walk begins on the L.L.Bean Campus, loops around the neighborhood, and ends in the same location! Click here to see the exact route.

WHEN

Saturday, August 16, 2025. Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m. The walk begins at 8:00 a.m.

REGISTRATION

Online Registration will be available until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15th. 

You may register the day of the event at our registration table beginning at 7:00 a.m. Please note that the price of day-of registration increases from $30 to $35.

T-SHIRT PICK UP

T-shirts can be picked up on Saturday, August 16, 2025 beginning at 7:00 a.m.
